Why do I rank these kites as excellent condition? 1. Very clean canopy with a good rip stop finish still resistant to water absorption, no heavy stains and generally looked after well with no bad odours to pong out your car/van. 2, Clean leading edge and struts. 3. Air tight bladder struts and leading edge (should stay inflated and hold its shape over night (10 hours). 4. Bridles and pulleys in very good order. 5. No UV damage. 6. Excellent trailing edge with no major signs of flogging or wear. If you look after these kites they should be hassle-free. What do I do to ensure these kites really are excellent? service the kites thoroughly and make repairs if necessary. check the bars and lines for safety. check the bridles and pulleys and replace them if necessary. check the kites when they are pumped up. wash and check all the bars and lines and tune them to the kites
It takes 1.5 hours to service a kite and I leave them inflated for 9 hours to make sure they're not losing any air. Once a kite has been serviced it is ready to be sold, therefore demos are not available on these kites as the kite would have to be re-serviced. If you want to demo one of these kites there would be a charge for a service after demo.
